Custom-fitted trays made from impressions of your teeth, plus professional-grade whitening gel. You whiten at home on your own schedule — 30–60 minutes per session, usually over 10–14 days.
Coffee, tea, red wine, berries, dark sauces — all respond well. Whitening does not affect crowns, veneers, bonding, or fillings. Dr. Whitmore will tell you in advance if that affects your outcome.
Many patients notice a bit of tooth or gum sensitivity during or after treatment — this is normal and typically resolves within 24–48 hours. Let us know beforehand if your teeth are already sensitive and we'll adjust the approach.
Results fade over time depending on diet and habits. Most patients do a quick touch-up every 6–12 months. If you have take-home trays, just pick up refill gel at your next cleaning appointment.
